Salsa from sad salad leaves?

Georgyporky · 18/06/2021 17:47

I was channel-hopping, & saw a snippet where a sorry bag of leaves was turned into salsa.
Looked good, I'd like to try it but can't find it as I don't even know what programme it was.

Anyone got the recipe, please?

I saw that too but my thought, no way, listeria heaven in a bowl if the leaves are past their best.
But fresh would be ok.

Don't old salad leaves go slimy?

Thanks, yes it was Prue Leith. I'll certainly try it - with sad leaves, not slimy.

I watched that whole programme, & was bemused by the family they were helping.
