First box... 3 keys ingredients missing across 3 of the 5 meals (2 x chicken, 1 x mushrooms)

All brown bags torn and ingredients mixed up in box

2 leaking sachets

Crap instructions I.e. a pasta dish where it doesn't tell you to put the pasta on until after the main part is cooked so my 16 year old who was following it to the letter ended up having to keep the completed part warm while the pasta cooked

All in all won't be continuing with the subscription

Oh and some very sad looking vegetables including 2 half carrots, like, the top halves...

This was our experience too. Very disappointing and very expensive, when tbh Aldi quality is better.

Almost exactly the same the first (and last) time I tried it.

Have you tried Gousto? We find them much better. Better selection of meals, less problems and you can pause your subscription after ordering your first box so that you don’t have to keep thinking to skip boxes if you don’t want them weekly.

My sister had the same issues with Hello Fresh so cancelled her subscription after her second box

Oh gosh, mine have never been as bad as that. My parents received one the other week that wasn't even sealed, as in there was no tape or traces of tape on it so it hadn't been sealed at any point. Impressively it still had everything in it, even if one of the ingredient bags was for the wrong recipe.

They ended up crediting them more than they actually paid for the box though so they were happy enough with that 😂

Ive done Gousto and Hello fresh 2/3 meals a week for the last year and never had any
Missing ingredients or issues.

Thing is. They gave me a credit for future boxes but I don't want future boxes if they're that crap!
