I've done a MN search and come up with nowt.

I'm googling but am not thrilled by all the american recipes that want me to use tinned and dried stuff.

I need a good, fresh, spicy tomato salsa recipe.

I'll give you a million pounds be ever so grateful if you can help.

hmm, i'm picking up a certain mexican theme in the Broccoli house tonight

It is actually very nice with tinned tomatoes...

I use
Tin toms, chopped fine, spring onion, pickled jalepinos, dash of worcester sauce, ground cumin, ground coriander, finely chopped peppers (green and red) and finely chopped cucmber (sometimes), a pinch of brown sugar, salt and pepper.
Leave at room temp for flavour to come out.

BUT if you want to use fresh tomtoes, just chop them finely. Or, if you can be arsed, plunge them into boiling water for a second, so the skin just peels off. Tis fiddly though.

oh, and sometimes I add a splash of the 'vinegar' from the pickled jalepinos to it, adds a piquant zinginess.
