You can freeze bananas and use them for baking another time.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/06/2021 09:04

You can freeze chunks of banana then whizz to make icecream/smoothie.

Good food had a 2 banana recipe that was amazing.

Also - banana "icecream" is amazing. Chop banana, freeze then whizz (add a little milk for consistency).

We had it on the banana bread... (also had too many bananas!)

I use this www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/bananabread_85720

I'm another one who freezes excess bananas. If I can be bothered I peel them first (as they are very squidgy when thawed) and use them for baking.

If you have any left, try banana ice cream www.delish.com/uk/cooking/recipes/a28869255/banana-ice-cream/

Whatever banana bread I make I always add an extra banana. Makes it nice and gooey and can be eaten warm in a bowl with ice cream

I use this one without the nuts, it calls for 3 bqnanas per loaf but I normally use 4. It is absolutely lush Grin

Thank you, I think I will try the banana and oat cookies 🍪
