DH is home tonight after a long drive and night away for work. So want to make something really tasty for supper as I have the day off. I have chicken breasts. And fancying a curry. What's your best recipes? Nothing too hot though! Can go to shop if we don't have the spices etc. But generally well stocked in the cupboard! Thanks all!

A day too late, but for Indian recipes I don't look anywhere other than the below two.

Meera Sohda - she mostly is a recipe book author but has published some recipes in the Guardian and other places so you can find them online.

Monica Sawhney Haldar - she runs a company called The Spice Club where she teaches in person Indian cookery classes (amazing btw), and she has just started Shikshak, an online cookery resource subscription thing. Her blog has some recipes on it freely available. spicediary.com

The Hairy Bikers do a great Chicken Jalfrezi.

It is to die for. You can get the recipe on line.

We had it again on Saturday. Delicious.

Bit late to the party too but, Monika Gowharden of Cook in a Curry is my go to. Her butter chicken is amazing.

Isn't Meera Sohda veggie?

I know she's a bit passé, but Madhur Jaffrey is my go-to for all things Indian.

@Georgyporky Meera has an entirely veggie book "Fresh India", but her first book "Made in India" also has meat and fish.

Love her. Have been watching her 90's programmes on iPlayer.

This is superb if you have a slow cooker.
