We are lazy and use the blue dragon sachets...they are sweet and w3 are trying to eat less sugar. what’s nice that I can make with store cupboard ingredients?

Usually have ginger, spring onions and chilli in.

It doesn't need a huge amount of sauce. Soy sauce and ginger work well. I'd have cooked the ginger, spring onion and chilli with the veggies in the stir fry anyway, then splashed soy sauce and squeezed lime juice at the end.

For black pepper sauce I use equal parts soy sauce and oyster sauce, teaspoon of crushed black pepper ( or to your own preference) and potato starch slurry to thicken ( one tsp potato starch, two tsp water) once added to stir fry it may need more water to get your preferred sauce consistency.

My favourite is

Soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, peanut butter, sambal oelek, ginger mixed together with hot water to loosen it.
Not super low calories but so so so easy and tasty

I can't be bothered with a cupboard full of ingredients I'd only use for the odd stir fry. I get the Aldi (fresh) stir fry packets - only 79p, delicious and freezable.

Also considerably less sugar than the Blue Dragon packets!

I marinate the meat or prawns I'm going to cook in 3 tablespoons dark soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, a bit of garlic and ginger and a 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
