Slow cooker pork... which sauce?

Can I ask which sauce you use for pulled pork please, and when do you add it?

I like this Recipe Tin Eats recipe. I used apple juice instead of beer and didn't have molasses. Sauce goes in after the meat has been shredded.

We did a sort of Italian-style slow cooker pork shoulder for Easter, and it was lovely! I made a paste from garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, rosemary, sage and fennel seeds, and rubbed it all over the pork before putting it in the slow cooker for about 8 hours. The smell was amazing, and we had the leftovers in a wrap with salad.

I chuck in all the ingredients for a ratatouille, plenty of black pepper and place the pork on top (having browned the fat side in a frying pan first for five minutes).
