Ready meals that are fairly healthy - do they exist?

I am having a few issues with some underlying health issues at the moment, coupled with being pregnant and having a very heavy work load and busy home life there are some nights where I finish work and hit a wall.
I could do with having something healthy in the freezer for such occasions so we don't end up eating chips and chicken nuggets or wasting money on a takeaway, neither of which are any good for my health problems.

Is there anywhere that does healthy frozen meals that can be zapped in the microwave?

Yes, Cook - home made frozen meals and they deliver. There is a healthy range with some really nice meals in there. My favourites are the Thai Green Noodle pot and the veggie chilli. There's a kids menu too. It's quite expensive though.

Gusto/Hello Fresh might be another option but you'd have to cook. There are some easy, quick recipes.

Or bung a roast chicken in the oven with tray bake ready bagged veg.

@Turmerictolly that looks amazing! Thank you, I didn't realise but we have a store not too far from our house so I could collect from there. It is a bit pricey but its not forever and I need to make sure I am eating decent food at the moment.
I think I might just go ahead and order some! It will only be once or twice a week.

The Charlie Bingham meals with frozen peas are my standby

Nice or edible ready meals, if there's such a thing? www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/4244051-Nice-or-edible-ready-meals-if-theres-such-a-thing

There's this thread for ideas too.

There’s a lidl frozen one which is quinoa, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and some veggie protein stuff that I really like. I could easily eat one weekly! I expect there are meaty options in the same range and they are not expensive.

Seconding cook - not bad at all

Make sure you pick the ones you can microwave Grin
