Can I use chicken stock in a shepherd’s pie?

Just that really! I have some left over stock after making risotto tonight and don’t want to throw it away. Tomorrow I’m making a shepherd’s pie - will it be ok made with chicken stock rather than lamb stock (which I don’t have anyway!)

The stock is homemade if that makes a difference.

Yes of course. I think chicken stock would be perfectly fine, a better alternative to beef stock. Go for it
