Magimix 3200XL Yes/No

I've been offered a Magimix 3200 xl for a good price - it's in excellent condition, but I'm wondering if it's the right machine for me.

Reading reviews and watching videos I get the following impressions.

  1. It may be on the small side as the middle bowl needs to be used for chopping/grating veg and this looks a little cramped on the 5200XL so I can only think it will be worse with the 3200.

  2. Cleaning - I hear that when you use the middle or small bowls, you still need to clean the outer one due to food escaping??

  3. Quality - Magimix has a great name, but some have suggested the quality of parts on these newer models (aside from the motor) is not up to the previous high standard?

Anyone own this machine and able to advise?

I’ve got the 4200xl so somewhere in the middle! It’s perfect for me but I’d not want any smaller myself. But i do use it ALOT
I’ve had mine for 3 years and no complaints about quality at all.
Your point about cleaning is annoyingly correct and I don’t think they are the easiest machines to clean but it’s an annoyance I can take when I compare it’s performance to any other blender/processor I’ve ever used.

Thanks - very useful to know.

I bulk cook a lot and your comment about not wanting anything smaller has put me off.

I may keep an eye open for a 4200 or 5200 then :)
