Sainsbury’s Nectar points

I’ve had a Nectar card for ever and have never claimed points.
I only shop in there occasionally and at use the card to use the ‘scan yourself’ aisle.

Can I get money off my shop with my points like Tesco ?

Yes you can use it for money off your shopping. We save ours up till Christmas & use it then. You just tell the cashier you want to use nectar points towards your bill.

Yes you can pay for your shop, or part thereof, with points at the checkout. You can also use them on sites like eBay. Download the nectar app and you’ll find a while ream of things you can do with them and how to maximise them (some places double the value of them for instance). I save mine all year and then buy all the Christmas wine with it Make sure you’ve added your nectar card on to any where that builds points too eg mine is linked to my eBay account and British Gas account amongst others.

It’s only £9, but I assume older points might have expired and been lost.

Yep, I have my car insurance with sainsburys and they double any points I earn on groceries. I also fill up the car at sainsbos for the points too. You can also get nectar points when you buy from ebay and argos.

You can use nectar points to spend at sainsburys or argos (and habitat?)

I save them up for the double nectar points event and for the sainsburys toy event which is around October I think?

I save mine for the double up event. End up getting about £100 worth of clothes each year.
