Help finding old recipe please

Dp loves liver and the only time I have enjoyed it my Mum cooked it in the oven with a packet of dry stuffing on the top. I have searched for the recipe but no joy. Does anyone make this?

We used to have that at school over 40 years ago. Delicious. I can't think of a recipe for it but I guess your Mother made up the stuffing with water or it would be very dry... and the reason for putting it on the top would be to stop it drying out. I would think you could do worse than pour a tin of chopped tomatoes and some onions around the liver, to provide some juices and then coat the top with the stuffing.
