I haven’t had a working oven for 12 months due to lockdown related building work (kitchen conversion) delays!

Could you ask to borrow someone's oven after you've assembled it in the tin?

What area do you live in

In South India a lot of people make creusois cake in a steamer or a dutch oven on the stove. You could try that?
