Mosschops hasnt had a food question for oooh at least a week so .....................

Ok its fish pie again tonight, but I'm making it with fresh cod and salmon. So last time I poached the cod in milk but would be easier to cook it all in the oven tonight before I shove it in the pie. Can I do that?

Also last time I used a packet white sauce but can I make my own. Would I do it the same way I make cheese sauce, with butter flour and milk (without the cheese obviously).

I cook cod in the oven if its for a pie , I wrap it in greaseproof paper and give it about 20 mins on 190*c ,so much easier than having to watch that the milk doesnt boil over.

yes thats how to do the sauce ,if you've got a bayleaf to chuck in then its extra yummy
