Help!!! I want to be able to serve food that is low in fat and healthy. Unfortunately the rest of the family seem to crave a variety fried food every evening. Please can you help me with idea's that taste great, but are not too high in calories.

Firstly low fat/ low calorie doesn’t necessarily mean healthy

Go for baked versions of typically fried foods:

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I will try the doner kebab tonight. My boys are all big meat eaters. Will go through the BBC website and make shopping list for tomorrow

When people are fasting all day I'd let them eat whatever they like come sundown, personally.

We do healthy stuff in addition to the junk. It’s on offer and as the days go on less fried stuff is consumed and more healthy stuff eaten. We always have a light veggie soup, or a salad. Lots of cut fruit.
