Just wanted to share that there are loads of kindle cookbooks for 99p just now. I've bought 22 today 🙈 A few examples of what I've bought;
Rangoon Sisters
Taverna
Dough
Hairy bikers x 2
Saturday Kitchen
Sunday Brunch
Gino de campo x 2
Claudia Roden Jewish Food
Street Food Favourites
Tapas Revolution
One Tin Bakes
Two Chubby Cubs
Persians
Doctors Kitchen
Mamushka
Ainslees Mediterranean
Ferne Cotton Vegan

And lots more. I read a lot of the foodie threads on here but don't post a lot so thought it was time I contributed something!

Thank you!! I managed to keep it to three.

One Tin Bakes
Barrafina: A Spanish Cookbook
Taverna: Recipes from a Cypriot Kitchen

That is extremely restrained of you! The Taverna book is just lovely, a nice read as well as recipes. My son is definitely keen on the idea of breakfast cake Grin

I bought Taverna and a Higgidy one. Both have lots of nice looking things in.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 12/04/2021 21:13

So far I think Taverna and Mamushka will be my most used. Rangoon Sisters is great but lots of hard to get ingredients.

Thanks for the heads up.
I've just bought Ainsley Mediterranean, Leon, Tapas and Taverna.

We have some old Ainsley books which are some of our most used.

DH is complaining because he doesn't like kindle book so will refuse to look at tgem. But our cookbook shelves are full and £4 wouldn't go very far for new books.

SummaLuvin · 15/04/2021 08:36

@Frenchfancy do you use kindle cloud reader? I have to say that I do prefer a physical recipe book, but cloud reader on a laptop comes very close.

Frenchfancy · 15/04/2021 11:54

@SummaLuvin thank you so much! I think that could be a game changer. So much easier than reading cookbooks on a tablet.

Miguel Barclay's Store cupboard one pound meals is also 99p, I really like his recipes for being simple and quick.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 15/04/2021 23:27

@Frenchfancy I definitely prefer physical books but like you've I've got full shelves and the £25 I've spent would only get me one new Ottolenghi!

Roasting Tin Around the World is 99p today Smile

I picked up roasting tin around the world and Persiana on top of my original 4. I sent Leon back because it was one of the worst cookbooks I've ever seen.

So far all the others show promise, but the tapas book is the one I'm most excited about.
