What's the secret ingredient in your chicken casserole?

I'm trying to 'perfect' a few basic dishes - it's always the personal touches that make these things great so please share yours

Yep the juice of one orange and the grated rind aswell if you like

I always use chicken thighs - cheap only one bone to cut out and easy to skin.

Heat butter in a pan and place chicken thighs in flour then into pan and brown off.

Mix orange juice 4 oz sherry one small chopped onion 1 tbsp of soy sauce together and pour over the chx thighs - simmer with lid on for 45 mins. Adjust gravy with flour to thicken or more oj to thin. If you like add a tablespoon of orange marmalade. Serve with rice or button noddles

2 tins of campbells condensed soup - i use cream of chicken and cream of mushroom.
Brown chicken thighs in pan, add chopped onion and mushrooms, simmer for a bit, add soup and 1 can of water, bung in oven for 1.5 hours and serve - lovely!

I use cambells to make pasta bake - use the condensed soup as the sauce and just add a little water and stock. Add cooked pasta and browned chicken pieces pop in the oven with cheese ontop for 20 mins
