Vegan AND gluten free

Is there anything easy to serve to a teenage vegan and gluten free guest at a BBQ? Clearly pizza or burgers won't work here but I don't want to prepare anything too different if possible. Any ideas? Thank you.

You can get some nice vegan, gluten free pizzas from Ocado or Waitrose - the brand is White Rabbit (do check the label though as they do have gluteny and non vegan in the range but are clearly labelled). Make sure to cook it on a piece of baking parchment in the oven to keep it totally separate

I like portobello mushrooms cooked on the barbecue and served as a burger. Schar burger buns aren't bad. M&S ones are nicer. Need to be toasted though and you can't use your ordinary toaster in case of cross contamination if the person has coeliac disease - on tin foil (if necessary to avoid cc) under your grill is fine. Carmelised onions and romesco sauce make it a bit more special. Usually easy enough to get vegan mayo in any supermarket. Rounds of aubergine are nice too. Kebabs with onion, pepper, aubergine and courgette served in gf pittas are another option. You'll need to cook all the gluten free stuff first.

Meant to say to check the vegan mayo is gluten free. Also could be used for potato salad. Tesco do gluten free vegan pesto that's not expensive and it's nice, I prefer the red one but the basil is nice too. I use them both as dressings and in sandwiches, not just on pasta.

There should be gluten free dairy free icecream in most supermarket freezers. Swedish Glace vanilla is nice though very sweet.

Thank you all some great ideas here. I'm trying to avoid anything 'fancy' as I get the impression teen finds their limited food embarrassing so as close to standard BBQ the better. Vegan burgers look promising although I can't work out if they are gluten free also. I suppose a trip to the shops and label scrutinising is needed but I don't want to handle a hundred boxes if I can help it. Thank you all I didn't want to give the kid a stack of cucumber sticks!

Aldi in Ireland have gf and vegan burgers - in the chilled section with ready meals, soups and salads, that kind of thing.
