Frozen nectarines and plums

Hello wise ones

I froze some nectarines and plums a while back and now I'm thinking of using them for a pud on Sunday.

What would you do with them?

Initially I thought crumble but now I'm not sure...

Pics to show you the amount.

Thanks in advance!

I'd say crumble too, as they are unlikely to hold their shape when defrosted so may be too mushy for much else. Maybe could work in a fool though?

I do this too, just throw any fruit about to go off into freezer bags.

I like to just cook it down in a pan with some spices and a bit of sugar to make a compote then serve with whipped cream or custard or in a meringue nest with runny cream.

Other ideas if you want something baked:

Flapjack, put half the flapjack mix in the tin, layer on the fruit then the other half of the flapjack mix. Press it down well, then bake. the fruit turns kind of sticky and jam like in the middle.

Fruit in the bottom of a baking tin, sponge mix on top then bake and turn out, end up with a fruity sauce on sponge.
