Can I add it now, just before the seafood?

I haven’t used any chorizo so it needs the paprika flavouring.

It made a nice change and it was definitely simple and easy to make.

Everybody had a clean plate so in my book that makes it 10/10 Smile

The flavour should come from the stock and the meat or fish. It doesn't really need paprika. A really good stock makes all the difference.

Just had a look at that recipe and know that my Spanish friends would say it's not a paella!!! it's got chorizo and onion in.

But I sometimes put it in (I'd never admit that to them though Wink).
