Non sweet filling breakfast

Fyredraca · 29/03/2021 14:29

Can anyone suggest any ideas for breakfast that aren't sweet or cereal etc.
Looking for something that doesn't take too long to prepare or could be prepped the night before.
Something filling and reasonably healthy.
Am not a vegetarian and no allergies or anything.

A poached egg on avocado toast and a sprinkling of grated cheese should fill you up.

Most mornings I have Greek yoghurt (FF), some muesli, some blueberries , and sometimes add a spoonful of compote too. Keeps me going til lunch.

A slice of ham and cheese in a croissant, bake in the oven til the cheese starts to melt (doesn't take long, 5-10 mins)

Sliced mushrooms cooked in a little butter or oil; add a handful of spinach til wilted; mix in grated cheese and pile onto a toasted bagel.

Bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese

Bacon can be microwaved in a couple of minutes, there's not much that can beat a bacon butty!

Beans or spaghetti hoops on toast

Mushrooms cooked through, stir in a little creamed cheese, serve on toast

Tinned plum tomatoes on toast

Make your own granola, oats, chopped almonds, coconut oil and I add a little maple syrup, mix and bake. Vary quantities to suit. I have with frozen raspberries- thaw in microwave and FF Greek yoghurt. Keeps me going for longer than porridge or toast etc.

I usually have peanut butter on multi grain toast, mushroom omelette or muesli with Greek yoghurt.
