Does anyone have any? Family of 5, always do tomato based pasta dishes and fancied trying a more creamy one without using cream 🤣

Garlic Philly with prawns and chives is nice.
I usually just fry off some garlic, add bacon, cook through and add cream. Our dinner table is very quiet with the creamy bacon pasta.

Thank you they both sound really tasty!! I will definitely try them.

One question though, whenever I fry garlic I just burn it and my house smells of burnt garlic for days! I am guessing because I use oil spray....

Try using the garlic flavoured Philly?
I actually use the garlic roule or Boursin which have more flavour

Cook it more slowly. And just for a really short amount of time. (Re the burnt garlic.)

Fry some bacon , quarter 6 toms, and some garlic. Add some cayenne pepper, and chicken stock. Let it simmer for a little bit. Then Chuck some philli in and lots of fresh spinach. Serve with lots of pasta

Chop up some bacon and fry while your pasta is on the hob, fry mushrooms as well if you like. I like to use steraky bacon and cook until crispy. Lardons work too.

Add a dollop of cream cheese and a dessertspoon (or two) of the pasta cooking water and stir. Drain the pasta and add to the frying pan.

Diced onion, frozen peas and bacon in a saute pan.

Add a vegetable or chicken stock pot and about 100ml of water. Reduce.

Stir in cream cheese or creme fraiche.

Add cooked pasta and mix.

Really nice and takes about 15 minutes!

You could use Philly instead of creme fraiche.
I add broccoli florets to pasta for last 4 minutes of cooking

This is always a winner in our house:
