Easter Lunch in the Garden - suggestions?

My parents have announced that if the weather looks promising, and it is legal to have 2 households meet in a garden by Easter, they are making the 5 hr drive to see us.

Has anyone got suggestions for something a bit Easter-ish that can be eaten easily without a table - it will be plates on knees for adults, and plates on the lawn for the kids.

Ideally, Dad would like roast lamb with traditional English sides.....
Kids are pretty adventurous. No dietary requirements (except Dad and DH will not class it as a meal without meat).

Adding to the bbq idea (but also could be done in the oven) how about a selection of skewers, minted lamb, garlic and herb chicken and lemon, salmon with lemon and black pepper. Homemade coleslaw, potato salad, green salad, tomato, basil and mozzarella and griddled flat breads.

Following as have been thinking about this too. Pulled pork rolls with coleslaw sound fab! Picnic-y, easy to do and also yum! Maybe some hard boiled eggs, pasta salad, gherkins, beetroot and other bits and pieces too?
For dessert, it might be nice to have some traybakes to go with tea and coffee. Maybe some buttered hot cross buns? You could pre-slice them, have them on a tray ready to pop in oven for a few mins to heat and then butter them quickly. They'd be a nice warm dessert that can be eaten out of your hand with no need for plates.

Baked gammon could be lovely. You could cook it in the slow cooker with honey. It would be beautiful with garlic potatoes and peas. Nice and easy. Pizza could be a great easy option for the kids on the lawn.
I hope you have a lovely day.

[ https://ottolenghi.co.uk/recipes/pork-souvlaki-with-cucumber-salad-and-tzatziki ] The cucumber salad in this recipe is fab for an accompaniment to meet for garden meals.

If people just used whatever cognitive ability they have been blessed with, understood in broad terms how the bloody pestilence spreads and act to curb said spread - using logic and common sense, we wouldn't be in the situation where some parts of ther populace need the bloody government to spell out how to hold the fucking spoon etc.

OP, lamb Kleftiko is a fabulous and easy dish to make. You could add the traditional Greek side dishes - heaven on a plate - or go for mint sauce, roasted carrots, green beans and roasted potatoes if your father would prefer that.
