Did anyone make the Ed Balls sponge cake with the double cream.
I attempted it but it was heavy and dry. Dh and dc just left it there.
Almost 2 pots of double cream went into it !!!!!
I'm gutted. I know think I'm just a dire baker.
What went wrong to make it so dry and dense ?
I used a K beater in my Kenwood Chef. Should I have used the whisk attachment instead ?
I also attempted Oat, Blueberry and Banana cups ( from Pinterest ) and they look nothing like the photo
plus I got triple the quantity.
