Best (fairly easy) Lamb Shank recipe?

I am planning my Easter Sunday lunch, we love lamb, and I was thinking of attempting lamb shanks.
Would prefer to cook from scratch rather than buy in a supermarket ready-made.
Anyone know of any relatively easy recipes?
Was thinking of a red-wine jus, mash and greens to serve with, so 'English' style if that makes sense?

It caused a run on lamb shanks in all the butchers in Ireland when the recipe was broadcast!

Probably not appropriate for your plans but I have used lamb shanks to make lamb rogan josh a few times and it's gorgeous! Hvaen't done for ages, should relook at that!
