What are your favourites? I keep looking at his site but am never sure what to try so some tried and tested would be a good place to start

He puts chilli in everything, it's fine to leave it out. I also never deskin the sausages, just chuck them in the blender...

Empire Roast Chicken. Its an old one of his but I've made it many many times and it's amazing. Always a hit at the bbq.

Looks like his Empire chicken recipe has suffered the same naming issues as the Empire pie from M&S. Recipe now seems to be called Spiced chicken. Looks nice, if a bit of a faff.

Ministry of Food is a great everyday family cookbook.

I do a fish pie from his website that is just brilliant - no need to precook the fish (don’t understand why that’s standard in most fish pie recipes as fish cooks so quickly).
