I'm angry at myself for wasting so much food. Can I use this? Can kids eat it? Do I have to bin it?

Thanks z

Bin it. It's way over!

And don't rely on the smell - stuff can be off and not have a bad smell.

Bluntness100 · 02/03/2021 11:31

Eugh, you can’t seriously be considering feeding your kids substantially out of date meat?

louise5754 · 02/03/2021 11:32

Sorry I should have smelt it before bothering to post. I've binned it. Sick of wasting food I even wrote it on the calendar too!!

We freeze all meat to stop wastage like this.

I didn't even know todays date.

No harm done sorry I'm autistic I like to check first.

You can't judge food freshness by smell alone. It's not a reliable way. 😁

I do a meal plan... and then swap things around based on the dates of the meat that I buy.
It’s the only way I find that I can plan and not throw away food.
