I'm thinking of attempting to sprout some seeds (feeling v virtuous at mere thought, perhaps less so once I get going).
However I checked out the food safety advice on the NHS website as had vague memory of salmonella being an issue, and the advice is to use seeds specifically bought for the purpose.
Does this seem sensible? Have to confess I was intending to use some fenugreek seeds we have in for cooking, as for reasons unknown there is a giant bag in the cupboard.
