What kind of cream....?

I’ve found a jar of lemon curd in the cupboard and fancy making a classic Victoria sponge and sandwiching it with a layer of curd and cream. Whipping cream, double, or classic buttercream? What do you think will work best?

Whipping. Swirl the curd through the cream before sandwiching.
