I always have lots of potatoes! Never had hasselback potatoes but always hear that they're lovely. Any one have any tips/recipes please?

So easy! Chop them part way through - I use a tablespoon to balance lots on while I cut. Melt butter, garlic and rosemary in a pan. Mix pots with butter sauce and roast for 30-50 mins size dependent!

I've tried them with new potatoes and maris pipers. Put each potato onto a wooden spoon and use a sharp knife to cut the slits, trying not to go all the way through! I usually then let them sit in a bowl of cold water for a few hours until I'm ready to bake them!

Thank you!! Think I might need to start getting better potatoes than the generic "white potatoes" from Asda :)

Also want to try these that look like a twist on hasselback

We have these quite often as quicker than trad roasties. I put a chopstick either side of the potato on the chopping board to make it easier to cut without cutting all the way through.

I'm sure they'll be fine with the normal white potatoes. It's the melted butter and a sprinkle of salt that makes the difference. So tasty. They turn a normal meal into something a bit more special.
