How many times can I reheat this?

Made lentil bolognese last night. Used the left o era to make a cottage pie tonight but there is still a lot of pie left. I feel bad binning but but it would be bad to reheat it again tomorrow surely?

You probably shouldn’t reheat twice but to be honest I would. As long as it was stored safely in between and reheated to a high enough temperature.

Thanks. It’s just lentils and veg. I’d be more wary if it was meat.

It will be fine for the rest of the weekend if you heat it thoroughly when you want to eat it. Give it a nuking in the microwave if you're worried.

Lentils should not be reheated twice because it would be very risky due to bacteria growth, just like with most food recipes.

DH ate it in the end!
