Couscous

My family have gone off couscous, and I've got loads to use up. I hate to waste food - if it was unopened packets I would donate it, but I've got 1kg that has already been decanted into a tub.

Any ideas that aren't the conventional ways of serving it? I thought I might reconstitute it in homemade soup?

Could you use it instead of breadcrumbs for things like breaded chicken?

Interesting idea. I don't know! I don't tend to fry. When I do' breaded' things I do the flour and egg and then roll them in crushed cornflakes, and then bake, rather than fry.

If they're not allergic, then I would be feeding it the family eg. once a fortnight till it's gone. Call it a lesson in money and food waste.

It's rubbish unless it's got loads of flavour added though imo, maybe try some new recipes? I like a tabbouleh with cous cous but not very wintery.
