Bloomin' typical that DH buys a packet that has a use by date on day of purchase (he got them yesterday!). Could we still eat these tonight?

yes I would

LongMeg · 31/10/2007 11:16

I'd use them - as long as they still look and smell OK. They're only a few hours over.

I would.

I would be too scared but then I am extremely irrational and paranoid especially about sausages.

Alishanty · 03/11/2007 11:31

I would. You don't have to worry so much about pork and beef (obviuosly not if it smells off). It's chicken and fish you have to be careful with.

Lazarou · 03/11/2007 11:34

Dh would eat them, he always eats out of date stuff! I wouldn't risk it with the kids though.

so long as they look and smell fine they will be...
if they smell wierd or anything then bin them
