What shall I make with the inside of the pumpkin then???

Myself & DS have just made our pumpkin face so I have a nice big bowl of pumpkin gooo.

Not keen on soup so what else can I make with it?

Is pumpkin soup that dreadful? I was just going to post this when I saw this thread.. will I be wasting my time or has anyone a receipe that makes it yum?

Fry all those lovely seeds off in a huge pan with a little olive oil-pumpkin seeds will store in an airtight container well and nice on yougurt cereal or just as a healthy snack.

My Pumpkin soup is gorgeous but I do wonder if it's because it's got so many other things in it which have a stronger flavour.

Basically you roast it in the oven with some carrots and sweet potatoes and onion and tomatoes and garlic.

When veg are roasted and all soft blitz it to a puree and mix it with some vegetable stock to the constistency you like and there's your soup. Warm through. Swirl of cream.

I didn't think you could - we just scrape out the gunky seed/sinewy bits and leave the actual pumpkin attached to the skin - lol, how thin is yours?

Also, I did notice in Sainsbury's (who had very few left when we went) "Carving pumpkins" and "Eating pumpkins". Are you sure you have the latter?
