Need family recipe inspiration

I'm out of ideas finally or more so inspiration on what to cook every night for a family of four. I thumbed through some Jamie O and Nigella books and nothing springs out at me, can you imagine.

Anyone have good recommendations or bought cookery books recently for new recipes and inspiration please? My family eat quite a wide range of things, Mediterranean, British, Indian, Middle Eastern, healthy and so on.

I don't know if it's lockdown again or what, I'm just feeling everything is on repeat week in week out and need something new.

I made chicken marsala last night and it was delicious. I hadn't made it in ages.

This realfood.tesco.com/recipes/chicken-and-sweet-potato-traybake.html is a firm favourite here. I don't use the broccoli though,
I just shove in any veg that's left in the fridge at the end of the week. It's great for using up stuff. Served with home made bread.

5 O'clock Apron by Claire Thompson is my favourite family cookbook - pretty simple recipes, a bit different to the norm but it is all wolfed down by everyone in the house, including my fussy one!

www.recipetineats.com/butter-chicken/

Made this the other day. So easy as you marinate the chicken in a bowl the day before. Then all you have to do is add Passata and cream and simmer.
Fussy toddler DS practically licked his plate clean. Tastes like a proper Indian takeaway. Cheap also as you use Chicken thigh meat.

We've recently been having a crab, chilli and lemon linguine. BBC recipes. Delicious!

Fajitas?

Chilli con carne?

Chicken curry....

We do often fall into a rut of the same old meals!!

Tomorrow I'm planning on writing a list of all the meals that we like, so that when I come to meal plan I can just select from "the list"! 😂
