I'm going to make a Mediterranean vegetable tart and want some kind of meat/fish with it but unsure what. Any ideas?
Thanks Smile

Baked salmon with a Parmesan and basil crust www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/fish-and-seafood/parmesan-crusted-salmon/

Or the lemon and garlic chicken here www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/recipes/lemon-and-garlic-chicken-with-couscous/

Lamb chops drizzled with pesto

I would serve a veg tart instead of other protein - assume it has cheese and eggs in? So I would do a couple of sides eg. red cabbage slaw and some vegetables.

You're a braver person than me. A tart is pretty much standalone as far as I'm concerned. At best I might throw some lettuce, cucumber and feta in a bowl alongside it.

But if you must... Grin what about mediterranean style meatballs? Keftedes - are little friend meatballs often served as part of a mezze?

I like a tart for lunch with a salad and dinner I’ll have baby potatoes and broccoli. Or I’d have a meat or fish pie with the same accompaniments.
