Food colouring - White chocolate

I’m looking to make some chocolate covered strawberries. I’m wondering if adding food colours to white melted chocolate to make other colours would work?

Also any recommendations for the best chocolate to use - white and dairy

Yes it can but you have to be so careful about the sort and amount of colouring that you use in order not to damage the chemical structure and cause issues with setting/appearance

Food colouring tends to make white chocolate "sieze" so I'd either use an oil-based colouring agent or add a few drops of vegetable oil to the chocolate before you add the colouring. I've found red and pink are the worst culprits - not sure if there's any science to support that or whether I'm just unlucky!
Coloured candy melts may be better if you don't want to faff about - have a look on Amazon.
