I'm going to attempt this recipe today but I could only get light brown dark sugar.... will it still work?

Yes, it'll be fine. On the subject of millionaires shortbread, can I recommend this recipe for next time? It's incredible.

@Throughhistory I might try that recipe for the Caramel - I don't have the energy today to make my own shortbread 🤣
