Cheap vodka mixer ideas

Don't mind mixing something up, preferably a bulk batch for the sake of laziness.

Adult Slushies made by blending frozen fruit with vodka or any other spirit, mango and strawberry goes well, although it just tastes like something you'd get in the summer as a kid so can be deadly if you forget they contain alcohol. Or if you want something easier, orange juice or any other fruit juice.

@andyoldlabour maybe in blackberry season! To give an idea of what I'm after it's to replace my beloved fever tree tonics (so something lighter than juice/smoothies). My first effort was to make a sugar syrup with ground almonds that needed using up, which I then have made a brittle type thing out of to freeze, so as to not waste the almonds. Top it up with water and as well as having with vodka it's especially nice with spiced rum.

These might work. We used them in the Summer to chill down Pimms. By the time you have finished the drink, the fruit is soft enough to eat.

@andyoldlabour thanks I am a fan of frozen fruit. If you like diet coke I recommend putting some frozen mango in the glass
