Very specific question about refreezing bread

I bought some bread a while ago which went straight in the freezer, then came out some time later, defrosted and was made into a big batch of croutons.

My very specific (and probably silly Blush) question is: Is it safe to refreeze the bread as croutons now it's been toasted with oil and seasoning?

I'm no expert (other than lots of cooking and eating with never poisoning anyone), but I would absolutely do this.

I wouldn't with any meat/ dairy ect, but I can't imagine anything that might be lurking in bread.

Probably safe, but soggy.

If you have cooked the bread by toasting it then yes you can refreeze it. You shouldn't defrost and refreeze anything without cooking it in between
