Anyone else addicted to string flavours?’

While prepping the veg for Sunday lunch I absentmindedly started dipping raw veg bits in the horseradish jar and before looking g realised I’d demolished half the jar. I’ve realised I absolutely love strong flavours. Piccalilli sandwich? Yes please. Horseradish straight from the jar- yes please. MustRd on toast. Delicious. This is a bit odd isn’t it? What’s it telling me? What’s my diet lacking to need to set my taste buds on fire?!

I love a string flavour. Not so keen on cheese strings though 🤔

But yes, I’m the same op. I’ve definitely noticed i love a strong flavour as I get older

Yep.
Love chilli, green curry, mustard etc.
Put siracha on everything
Love vintage cheddar, Camembert, Stilton, coffee, strong red wine

This is quite normal op, it’s not telling you anything, these are mainstream popular foods.

I was thinking of Bridget Jones's blue string soup. Does it come in a pink variety?

I've always loved strong flavours. Coffee, liquorice, mustard, garlic, chilli, anchovies, vinegar, string smelly cheese. My children's love of beige and mild food makes me sad.
