But they are probably do the same thing I've had a few throughout the years (different brands) and not really noticed a difference with them

I have the Tefal Oleoclean - expensive but you can filter the oil after each use / the oil gets stored in the base - the oily bits go in the dishwasher. It’s easy to change the oil.
