Cheese straws. I just fancy some now

TheFlis12345 · 09/01/2021 20:42

Was coming to say the same thing! Definitely cheese straws.

Jam pasty. Stick jam in middle, seal and bake

Murinae · 09/01/2021 20:45

Or jam tarts

I roll it out into a rectangle shape. Then cover in pesto (leave an inch free around the edges) and add a smattering of grated cheese. Then I roll it up (so like a thin Swiss roll) and then cut twice along almost the full length so into 3 strands so I can plait it. Then just bake in the oven. It's super-easy, super-quick and is always well received as a savoury snack.

vegetable pasties
caramelised onion & goats cheese tarts
Apple turnovers
pesto tartlets with roasted peppers

Roll out very thin, scatter with cinnamon and sugar, fold and roll again.

You end up with spotty little pastries. Very tasty and dead easy.

Nutella. Spread it on and roll it up.

Spread with chocolate spread, roll and slice. Quick egg wash and baked.

Cinnamon rolls!! Just brown sugar and cinnamon, roll it up and cut into little pieces then bake!

Or Roll out, spread with mincemeat, roll up, cut slices and bake for mincemeat swirls
