Panacalty..how do you make yours ?

I have made it tonight but even tho I left it in the oven 1hr 30 mins my potatoes are still slightly hard.
Would you boil them slightly first before putting it in oven?

Ive never made it but looked it up - i think i would slice and pre-cook the potatoes then they are guaranteed to be cooked.

@bilbodog Thankyou ,I think I deffo will pre cook them next time.
Or at least boil them a little to soften them up a bit.

If you can thinly slice the potato using a food processor or mandolin you can cook it in a frying pan on the hob on a low light with foil over the the top to keep the heat it and help cook the potato.

I cook mine on the hob with diced potato mixed through it, no problem with it softening, I do put a lid on.
