Best cinnamon rolls recipe?

I made Nigella's cinnamon rolls from the Domestic Goddess book today but was disappointed with them. The dough was very sticky and difficult to handle and the kids said they weren't cinnamony enough. Any suggestions for a better recipe please?

I make these every Christmas Day and they disappear quickly. I the icing is definitely not needed.

They both have a lot more filling that the ones I made. I think that must be the key.

I find freezing my slices then baking a few works better than baking them all at once.

I use a brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, pecan nut mix on a basic puff pastry. I cook at 170 Fan for about 20 minutes.

These are some of the nicest I have made from Ambitious Kitchen I generally don't ice them as we like to eat them buttered (OINK) like hot cross buns.

OTHERWISE, if you need a cinnamon bun hit in a hurry, this Cleobuttera recipe is totally amazing....I almost prefer it to an actual cinnamon bun
Do read all the hints though....I have never had any bother with it, but it seems some people do.
Also you can fling big fat sultanas and or pecans into the batter right at the end and just fold them in if you like that sort of thing.
