Help me out please?
I got given some cake by a friend (he'd bought it, not made). It. Was. Incredible.
So now I'm on a quest to recreate it....

Chocolate. Mint. Flapjack depth but more cakey.

Any ideas/recipes I can try please?

It looks like chocolate brownie with smashed up candy canes on top.

For brownies try the ultimate brownies by BBC good food then add candy cane. Good starting point!

Maybe add a couple drops of peppermint essense to the above recipe if you want it very minty. Or fold through some mint aero balls before cooking.
