Single mum, just moved house, work full time, money and times tight blah blah. So I thought - I know- BATCH COOKING.

I’ve started well.

Made 4 portions of goulash
Made 6 portions of bolognaise sauce
Made 6 portions of chicken saag
Will be making a dal and a chilli

Have bought reusable ziplock freezer bags. Have expelled air. Have cooled and frozen quickly. Have even cooked chicken scraps and frozen for dog that occassionally visits.

Tell you what though.

Am FUCKED if I know the safest and tastiest way to reheat?!?! Which is sort of key to the process...

Don’t have a microwave.

What do you do? Do you defrost them reheat in a pan? Do you reheat in water in the bag? From frozen? From defrosted?

Halp!

I would normally take out to defrost and rehearsal in the microwave but you could defrost and heat in a pan too

Reheat not rehearsal!

@AnaisNun Take out the night before to defrost in the fridge and then heat in a pan 😊 that’s what we do!

This for us too

I take stuff out in the morning and defrost on the worktop - put in fridge once defrosted. Hasn't killed us yet
