Cold buffet ideas

Ideas please for a cold buffet, someone on here once mentioned some good cold roast beef and king prawns etc what could I serve with the prawns ? A sauce ? Any other ideas please ?

You could serve the prawns with Marie Rose or sweet chilli sauce

Chicken satay skewers or trays of cheese and charcuterie are lovely

A joint of roast beef, ham, a rotisserie chicken or whole poached salmon are all delicious eaten cold - serve with potato salad, green salad and good bread

Pesto pasta salad, lemon and herb chicken skewers, caprese salad, mini salmon frittatas, courgette and Parmesan puff pastry tarts, olives

A few things I do for a cold buffet are

Smoked salmon
Large pork pie sliced up
Large quiche sliced up
Roast a ham and slice
Potato salad
Coleslaw
Selection of salami, ham etc
Cheese, a mature cheddar, a smoked and a brie
Good bread, brown and white
Selection of crackers and oatcakes
Salmon pate / meat pate
Olives, pickled onion, gherkins etc
Grapes and figs
Selection of veg such as pepper strips, carrot and cucumber.
