KitchenAid

Any KitchenAid experts? Just got one. It doesn’t turn off? When set to 0/zero still turns. When tilted ( blades lifted), still turns. Only controlled by switching plug off via the mains wall switch. I’ve read the manual and can’t find anything about this. Also looked on net but nothing springs out?

I've got one , yours must be faulty, they stop when turned to 0.

Willow4987 · 27/12/2020 16:47

Sounds faulty to me. Mine turns off on 0

Mominatrix · 27/12/2020 16:47

Agree. Return for another one.

Thank you very much for your replies. I thought so, but thought it may be some strange feature that they had 🙈. Zero of course means no turning speed.
A very expensive mistake, already taken the box to the skip

So long as you still have proof of purchase you won't need the box. It's faulty so you're entitled to a refund or replacement.

@LifeInAHamsterWheel

Thanks, I have, that is reassuring

I’ve had issue with my kitchenaid kettle before and I just sent them proof of purchase and they sorted it for me. I also didn’t have the original box

Thanks, I’ve emailed them. It’s Sunday night, hopefully I’ll hear something tomorrow
