What will happen if I whisk custard

I have made a layered chocolate dessert (probably would be a terrine if I had the confidence in it but is more of a trifle I guess), it has a white chocolate layer and a a raspberry layer. I have made the chcolate custard layer but I have a strange desire to whisk it? What will happen to my lovely chocolately layer?

It might split, try to do a little bit first to test.

I just tasted it and it was so lovely and silky I decided not to risk it, looks lovely with the white and red layers. Thanks though!
